Our Story
Established in 1865, the Inn was the original Post Office and General Store for the Ashbourne area. After extensive renovations in early 2018, and again in 2024, Ihe Greenman Inn is open for business.
The Inn still has its country charm, but with a little hint of modern contemporary in there too. Whether you are looking for a relaxing coffee, refreshing drink, a snack, a long lunch sitting under the veranda or on the lawn taking in the beautiful views, we have you covered.
Our Food
Our food is fresh modern country pub fare, our Chef loves to tweak the taste buds and challenge the combination of flavours. We source all our food from local growers and producers.We take pride in, not only what comes out of our kitchen but our regional wine list too.
We pride ourselves on being able to meet most requirements not just dietary but we can also cater for small functions and special occasions.
